The AWPR ( Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route) has made a difference to Stonehaven.
Simon Cruickshank, owner of the Ship Inn said has seen a significant increase in visitors from outwith Stonehaven to the Captain's Table Restaurant and the Bar from places like Westhill, Inverurie, Ellon and Dyce.
Watch the video below:
The new AWPR bypass makes it easier to visit us at the Ship Inn at Stonehaven Harbour.
Now only a 20 minute drive from Aberdeen Airport.
25minutes from Inverurie
30 minutes from Ellon
Only 15 minutes from Westhill.
Here's a review from a visitor from Westhill.
"Zipped along the new Aberdeen bypass from Kingswells to Stonehaven for a quick Friday lunch. Delicious Cullen Skink with crusty bread sitting outside in the sunshine overlooking the harbour. Perfect but for the occasional sandstorm (moved inside after a bit!)"
Come and visit our Bar or have a meal in our Captain's Table Restaurant.
